Foster
We also need foster parents for our rescued animals until they can be placed into loving forever homes. We require our foster parents to have a fenced in back yard, no more than two dogs of their own, and an open heart to welcome them into their home until one can be found for them. If you decide to foster for us, we will provide all vet care, de-worming, micro-chip, and heartworm and flea prevention.
The only expense that you will have is for the food. We have a program with Hills Science Diet where our fosters can purchase dog and cat food at a discounted price, much cheaper than what you would buy it for in the store. All they require is for us to pay for shipping, which is .25 cents per pound of food. Dog food comes in a 50 pound bag, and cat food comes in a 25 pound bag. As a foster you are also able to purchase this food at this price for your own animals as well. This is one of the advantages that Hills offers us and our fosters for helping rescue animals.
